The most annoying thing in Japan?
Probably the most annoying thing in Japan is the way that, if you're with a Japanese person shopping or at a restaurant, you can speak Japanese admirably to the staff, and they will still look at the person you are with to see what the H it is that you mean. It's ridiculous　(not that I've ever spoken Japanese admirably, *sigh*).
