自己紹介(Self introduction):

Introduce yourself, who you are, what you do(趣味), what you like (好きな飲み物?), greetings to oussepians etc. in 日本語 or English:
I'm Fabien, French, turned 26 this year. I graduated last year so I wanted to have another experience of living abroad studying (ie without doing much), before starting to look for a job. And I landed in Osaka thanks to the OUSSEP programme. Life here this year was sometimes difficult, sometimes really crazy thanks to a bunch of crazy baka gaijins, and I really enjoyed it, so thanks to all of you!

Questions

Describe your best experience in Japan so far.
Probably the second ski trip to Nozawa onsen, excellent skiing conditions, magnificent Japanese "fireworks" (ask, Tomo about this, and if he doesn't speak I have a video!)

The best thing in OUSSEP?
It's an international melting pot, so you not only get the opportunity to learn things about Japan, but also about other places. So, Fredrik and Ida, you've been to New Zealand????

The most annoying thing in Japan?
People who don't look around when they cross the street, walk or ride their bike. I nearly crashed in so many people because they weren't paying any attention, too busy writing emails on their keitai!

Your favorite japanese phrase or word?
今朝夢精しました Kesa musei shimashita

Describe your worst experience in Japan so far
My first training session in the university's badminton club. I thought I'd get a heart attack because it was over-exhausting, the senpai scolded me, I was so weak compared to the Japanese members... I felt like crying. At the end of the training, after having done about 150 push ups and abdominals, I almost fainted.

Life motto or other random stuff people remember you by
...
Describe your favorite place in Japan
The city I prefered was Hiroshima, but other places, like the onsen in Shirahama just next to the rocky beach with waves crashing in the pool was also really great, and also Okinawa!

Your favorite kanji
陰分身の術 Kage bunshin no jutsu

Will you visit Japan again after OUSSEP some day? When? For what reason?
I hope, probably as a tourist

What was your motivation to come to Japan / to join OUSSEP?
It's a good opportunity to learn Japanese and live in Japan

Describe your home-country in five words
Wine, Zidane, Paris, Chirac, fashion. For Japanese people, this is France. My words: "come and have a look"

You know you've been in Japan long enough if.....
You bow and say "un" or "oooh" every five seconds, or find anything that's small "kawaii", even if it is the tiniest piece of shit.

Which part of Tokyo did you find the most fascinating/fun/tanoshii/genki? Why?
Shinjuku and Kabukicho

Which part of Osaka did you find the most fascinating/fun/tanoshii/genki? Why?
Umeda, Nanba, and the Kaiyuukan

Which part of Kyoto did you find the most fascinating/fun/tanoshii/genki? Why?
Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji

Which part of Antonio did you find the most fascinating/fun/tanoshii/genki? Why?
His dark part... oh yeah definitely his dark part!

Lets just imagine that the world is going to end tomorrow, and you had only ¥1000 in your pocket..what would you buy?
Aquarius!

Where were you on the 10th of March [during springbreak]?
Universal Studios Japan

Fabieeeeeeeeeeen! Maybe emotionally the strongest man of the OUSSEP program (sorry Martin, don't beat me up), but too much emotion (revenge!!)-driven when playing boardgames ;)

What's this I keep hearing about boardgame playing?

"sometimes the male mind is too simple" -Basho 1629

Definately one of the two quiet gentlemen of the OUSSEP program. Also known as Frenchie Number 1.

If I ever lose Catan, It is because of the unpredictability of the dice. I always play the optimal game, but (luckily for you) luck is an important aspect of the game. I am not lucky in the game, that's right. But you know what they say; no luck in the game means luck in love, and I prefer the latter!

Fabien,Fabien,Fabien~~*^^*
